Rob Praske
-- Aside from being CEO & Founder of anyCOMM, Rob is the brain behind the product offerings for early wildfire detection and utility company
physical asset management. His early innovation days reach back to when he was the Co-Founder & President of Medic Life Alert, where he
created the first micro-computer based wireless medical pendant monitoring system. Rob was the Co-Founder & CTO at National Security
Systems, where he created the first micro-computer based security card access system for office buildings. He was the Co-Founder &
CTO of Squire Communications, where he created the first multi-location remote video surveillance system for the convenience store
industry. Rob’s experience in these industries led him to found REST - a hardware & software development company with emphasis on
remote kiosks for the banking industry. Rob holds many patents and has patents-pending for anyCOMM’s products.
As a veteran of the energy, telecommunications and investment banking industries, Peter Darbee became an early champion of the
anyCOMM product value. He currently fulfills the role of Board Chairman. He was most recently Chairman of the Board, CEO and
President of Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Based in San Francisco, PG&E is one of the largest combination natural gas and electric
utilities in the United States. Previously, Peter served as CFO of Advanced Fibre Communications, CFO of Pacific Bell and was an
investment banker with Goldman Sachs.
Keith Scott has been instrumental working with anyCOMM as Vice President of Business Development. He is concentrating primarily
on corporate strategy as it relates to establishing industry leadership and customer relationships. Keith has an extensive background in
lighting, including the development and management of a LED street lighting division within Bridgelux focused on government and commercial
partners. Prior to Bridgelux, he worked with OSRAM Sylvania and was a founding member of the Philips LumiLEDs team that launched LEDs into
the conventional lighting market. Keith holds a B.S., Math - Physics, and M.A., Business Administration, and multiple U.S. patents.
As Senior Director of Business Development, Duncan Clendenin brings to anyCOMM his extensive utility management experience in corporate
strategy for one of the country’s largest investor-owned utility companies. He has also consulted on a National Nuclear Fusion power generation
technology. His operational background includes leading the technology solutions and asset management group during the deployment of over 10
million gas and electric SmartMeters. In a prior life, Duncan was a Naval Officer (Captain, Retired) and an F/A-18 pilot. Duncan has a Masters
from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
Dave Stubben works with anyCOMM as Vice President of Engineering. Dave is a master at directing hardware vision and product development. Dave
served as the SVP of Engineering at Atari from 1976 to 1985. He created many of the legacy gaming products and ran the majority of the coin
operated solutions. Dave holds a BSEECS and an MSEE in Electrical Engineering as well as an MBA in Business and is the holder of a variety
of patents.
Al Hamilton works with anyCOMM in the capacity of Vice President of Operations. He focuses on product management and development
of new suppliers to the anyCOMM road map. A veteran of Silicon Valley, Al has lived and worked in the area for the majority of his career. As
Co-Founder, President and CEO of Calibre Inc., he was instrumental in founding, funding and completing a merger with ZiLOG. Prior to Calibre,
Al held senior positions with TEMIC, Chips & Technologies and Intel. He graduated from the University of Toronto with BASc and MASc degrees
and holds 13 U.S. patents.
Hien Tran is a valuable asset to anyCOMM, serving as Vice President of Manufacturing. Hien has an extensive background in product
design, development, manufacturing, global business and supply chain management. Hien was most recently Managing Partner of FirstBridge LLC;
helping bridge startup companies’ ideas to the market with advanced production solutions in a wide variety of electronic and mechanical systems.
Areas of focus were consumer, medical, industrial, automotive and the military. Previously Hien held positions of Director of Business Development
at Flextronics, Director of Supply Chain and NPI Engineering at Pemstar, and Vice President of product management at Anuvu Inc.
