anyCOMM is a technology solutions company that is focused on modernizing the way utility companies oversee their power infrastructure and is the supplier of the anyCOMM Safety and Fire Detection Solution (anyCOMM SAFD). The anyCOMM SAFD technology utilizes real-time monitoring of a variety of events that can cause either power line generated or power line enhanced wildfires.

The anyCOMM SAFD system uses anyCOMM Artificial Intelligence (anyCOMM AI) to analyze images and data collected from cameras and sensors to provide real-time situational monitoring of utility equipment and assets. Monitored factors include imminent fire threat (fire, smoke, gas), weather concerns, electrical line faults such as conductor line slapping, power line obstructions & contact (vegetation, balloons, animals, etc.), transmission tower relays and guy wire tension problems.

Installation of anyCOMM technology utilizes a "set it & forget it" approach for utility company installers. There is no field provisioning or configuration required. All anyCOMM products and services run the anyCOMM Networking Communications Layer (ACNCL) which is a unique (patented) secure communications architecture. The ACNCL autonomously initializes the network, configures the operating policies, handles any updates and makes secure "closed network" connections. If anyCOMM front-end products are connected via cellular, the ACNCL will determine the strongest data carrier (ex: AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile) and choose the best option. The anyCOMM products are not "tied" to any specific carrier.

Future expansion of the SAFD technology is simple. Once deployed by a utility company, the ACNCL will automatically detect new products.

    Measures wind speeds up to 160 mph and updates every 10 seconds to fully capture wind gusts and maximum wind speeds. Direction is reported in degrees.

    Uses a rain gauge with a wide collector to maximize measurement accuracy. Rain is measured at 0.01 in (0.25 mm) intervals and updated every 30 seconds.

    GUY WIRE TENSION LOAD CELL (4 PK)

    The anyCOMM Load Cell system provides a monitoring and surveillance system for "cables under tension". The sensors can measure cable tension and communicate the measured tension to the anyCOMM backend to manage identification and reporting of status and/or faults in parameters measured by the Load Cell sensor package. Further, the backend can perform analysis, organize data, and/or create reports to determine whether the parameters indicate erosion of performance predictive of a failure mode, up to and including catastrophic failure.

    There are two versions of the anyCOMM Load Cell field-unit, the first is for a "Cable Under Tension", and the second is for a "High-Voltage Line".

    • CAMERA

      - The Load Cell is simple to install, either by two connecting bolts attaching it to a cable or a clamping mechanism around a high voltage line. Easy start-up is enabled via UPC scan by the installer with a cellphone or other handheld device, which instantly and automatically provides the Load Cell's location to the anyCOMM Network Center. Additional start-up activities include ascertaining correct functioning of all sensors and communications.

    The Solar Power Pack is a solution to provide power to the Node and Tri-Cam when terrestrial power is not available. The Pack consists of a 100 watt solar panel and 50 amps of lithium battery power plus a dedicated CPU running custom anyCOMM software with a variety of onboard sensors.

    The Solar Power Pack typically installs on utility transmission towers high above the powerlines or on distribution poles without stepdown transformers.

    The Pack provides an ANSI C136.41 7-pin socket on the top of the unit for the Node to quickly attach. Mounting to the tower only requires 4 bolts.
